Installation Steps

Step 1: Begin by having your refrigerator disconnected from the electrical outlet. Additionally, have the water supply to the refrigerator turned off to safely access the internal tubing and connections, which will prevent any water leakage.

Step 2: Have all items taken out from the refrigerator shelf, including any clips or wire baskets that may be attached.

Step 3: Next, have the glass-door shelf identified, which is situated inside the refrigerator. This part is typically secured by two plastic plugs at the rear and two metal retainers at the front.

Step 4: Gently have the shelves detached from their brackets by having them lifted upward and then drawn towards you.

Step 5: After the old shelf has been taken out, the new shelf can be positioned into place. Ensure that the mounting holes on the back of the shelf are aligned with the plastic plugs.

Step 6: Have the shelf pushed completely in until it is firmly secured. Then, have the two metal retainers reinstalled at the front of the refrigerator.

Step 7: Lastly, have the shelf verified to be level and secure, and then have all your items returned back into the refrigerator.

Step 8: Have the refrigerator reconnected to its power source and the water supply turned back on. Your new glass-door shelf should now be firmly in place, and your refrigerator is ready for use.
