Installation Steps

Step 1: Your washing machine should be disconnected from the power supply.

Step 2: The washer should be gently tilted onto its back and the four screws located at the bottom of the washer should be taken out.

Step 3: The top cover should be removed to access the current hub assembly.

Step 4: The wires should be detached from the current hub assembly, if applicable.

Step 5: The two mounting screws that secure the hub assembly should be unscrewed.

Step 6: The old hub assembly should be extracted from the washer.

Step 7: The new GE WH45X10027 Hub Kit should be positioned in place and fastened with the two mounting screws.

Step 8: The wires should be reconnected to their corresponding terminals on the GE WH45X10027 Hub Kit.

Step 9: The top cover of the washer should be reattached and tightened with the four screws.

Step 10: The washer should be reconnected to the power supply and its operation should be verified.
