Installation Steps
Step 1: Your washer/dryer combo should be disconnected from the wall outlet.
Step 2: A towel should be positioned at the drum's bottom to avert small components from dropping into the drain hose.
Step 3: The agitator located at the center of the washer should be identified and the nut that secures the agitator should be loosened using your wrench. Once the nut is detached, the agitator should be gently lifted out.
Step 4: The new agitator should be placed inside the washer and fastened with the wrench using the same nut that secured the previous agitator.
Step 5: A screwdriver should be employed to detach the top lid of the washer/dryer combo. The motor and transmission assembly should be visible. The mounting screws that secure the transmission should be taken out.
Step 6: The old transmission should be extracted from the assembly and the new one should be installed. The mounting screws should be reinserted and it should ensure that the transmission is secured.
Step 7: The lid should be reattached to the washer/dryer combo and reconnected to the wall outlet. The agitator of your WH43X10056 GE Washer/Dryer combo has now been replaced.
