Installation Steps

Step 1: The appliance is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply to the unit is turned off.

Step 2: The appliance is shifted away from the wall and the access panel located at the rear is taken off.

Step 3: A flat-blade screwdriver is employed to take out the screws securing the existing hose drain inlet.

Step 4: Pliers are utilized to remove the hoses from the existing hose drain inlet.

Step 5: A ratchet along with a socket set is applied to unscrew and take off the old hose drain inlet from the appliance.

Step 6: The new hose drain inlet (GE WH41X10280) is inserted into position, ensuring it is firmly secured.

Step 7: The hoses are reconnected to the new hose drain inlet with pliers, verifying they are tightened.

Step 8: The access panel at the back of the appliance is refitted, and the appliance is repositioned back into place.

Step 9: The water supply is reactivated and the appliance is reconnected to the electrical outlet.

Step 10: The functionality of the new hose drain inlet is verified to ensure it operates correctly.
