Installation Steps
Step 1: The power supply is disconnected from the washing machine and moved away from the wall.
Step 2: The screws that secure the top panel of the washer are removed.
Step 3: The top panel is gently lifted off and the agitator is taken out.
Step 4: The damaged slide assembly on the left side of the washer is located and extracted by pulling it directly out.
Step 5: The new GE WH16X10099 SLIDE ASM is inserted into position. It is ensured that it is firmly seated within the washer.
Step 6: The agitator and top panel are reattached using the screws to fasten them.
Step 7: The washer is reconnected and a test is conducted to verify it operates correctly.
