The General Electric WH16X10056 Washer Suspension Assembly is used to stabilize the drum during the wash and spin cycle, and minimize vibration, and movement. It operates by springing and providing shock absorbers to the tub so that it moves the drum smoothly and is in the correct position. It is placed between the outer tub and the washer cabinet and installed in special mounting holes at the top or bottom of the drum assembly. This suspension system assists in maintaining balanced working, lessens noise and regains stable performance.
