GE WH13X27314 Washer 2-1 Water Inlet Valve

Step 1: The power cord should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply should be turned off.

Step 2: The rear panel of the washer or dryer should be accessed.

Step 3: The hoses linked to the water inlet valve should be detached and the mounting screws should be taken out using a standard screwdriver.

Step 4: The faulty water inlet valve should be gently taken out and thrown away.

Step 5: The wires of the new WH13X27314 water inlet valve should be joined to the existing wires with wire connectors.

Step 6: An adjustable wrench should be employed to fasten the new water inlet valve to the washer/dryer.

Step 7: The hoses should be connected to the new water inlet valve and secured tightly with pliers.

Step 8: The rear panel should be closed and the power cord should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.

Step 9: The water supply should be restored and the new water inlet valve should be verified by turning the dials on the washer/dryer.
