Product Description
The General Electric WH12X20357 Washer Lid Lock Assembly supports preventing the lids from opening when it is in use and also facilitates preventing the wash cycles until the top shield is correctly closed. It senses the lid being closed and activates a mechanical lock so that the lid cannot be opened during the spinning of the drum or when the water is agitating it unlocks the lock. It is fitted at the top front of the washer cabinet and is connected to the lid and the control system to regulate locking and unlocking programs.
