Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cord should be disconnected from the washing machine prior to starting the repair.

Step 2: The screws should be extracted from the rear of the washing machine employing a flathead or Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 3: The top lid of the appliance should be lifted and the tub seal gasket should be found. The gasket is typically positioned behind the drum and should be easily visible after the screws at the back have been removed.

Step 4: A pair of pliers should be utilized to detach the current tub seal gasket. The old gasket should be gently taken out and disposed of.

Step 5: The new GE WH02X10383 Tub Seal Gasket should be positioned into the space where the previous gasket was located. It should ensure that the gasket is correctly aligned and that all holes are matched up.

Step 6: All screws should be reinserted to secure the gasket and the lid should be lowered.

Step 7: The power cord should be reconnected, and the washing machine should be operated to verify it is functioning properly.

The WH02X10383 GE Tub Seal Gasket has now been successfully swapped.
