Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to the washer is disconnected and the water inlet from the washer is detached by beginning.

Step 2: The washer is shifted away from the wall to gain clear access to the rear of the unit.

Step 3: The rear plate or access panel is detached, ensuring that none of the screws are damaged or misplaced.

Step 4: The drum belt is taken off by loosening the tensioner and then removing the belt.

Step 5: The spring clutch is situated on the rear side of the transmission, beneath the drive pulley.

Step 6: The old clutch and spring are gently extracted, ensuring that neither is bent or harmed in the process.

Step 7: The new spring clutch and spring are positioned onto the back of the transmission and fastened securely.

Step 8: The drive belt is reattached to the washer and the tension is adjusted as per the guidelines.

Step 9: The rear panel is reinstalled and fastened using the screws.

Step 10: The power supply and water inlet are reconnected before a test cycle is executed to verify that the spring clutch is operating properly.
