The General Electric WH01X22787 Washer Hub connects the basket to the drive shaft, ensuring stable and efficient drum rotation during wash and spin cycles. It works by securely locking the inner tub to the transmission or motor assembly, allowing smooth transfer of rotational force while maintaining proper alignment under load. It enhances washing operation, reduces vibration, and prevents slippage. It is placed within the washer drive system to provide a secure connection and consistent stability during laundry operation.
Step 1: The washer is started by disconnecting from the electrical outlet.
Step 2: The washer’s top is raised and the hub kit is identified, which is secured by two screws.

Step 5: The hub kit is fastened with the two screws, ensuring it is tightly secured.
Step 6: The washer lid is lowered and the washer is reconnected to the electrical outlet.
