Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to the appliance should be disconnected. The cord should be unplugged from the outlet, then the circuit breaker should be switched off or the corresponding fuse should be taken out.

Step 2: Any hoses or wires linked to the drum should be detached. If wires are present, the clips securing the hub nut should be carefully removed.

Step 3: The hub nut located at the back of the appliance should be identified. The rear panel might need to be taken off to reach it.

Step 4: The wrench should be employed to loosen the current WH01X10618 GE hub nut. It may be stuck, so additional force could be necessary to detach it.

Step 5: Any debris surrounding the hub area should be removed. This will guarantee that the new hub nut is seated evenly and establishes a tight connection.

Step 6: The new WH01X10618 GE hub nut should be positioned and secured tightly with the wrench.

Step 7: Any hoses or wires should be reattached to the drum and the back panel should be reinstalled if needed.

Step 8: Power to the appliance should be restored. The cord should be plugged back into the outlet and the circuit breaker should be reactivated or the fuse should be reinstated.

The WH01X10618 GE hub nut has now been successfully replaced.

Please remember, these directions serve as general guidance and should always be followed alongside the manufacturer's manual, if available.
