Installation Steps

Step 1: The wiring harness is disconnected from the socket. The harness plug situated at the back of the socket is found, then the tab is depressed while the plug is pulled away from the socket.

Step 2: The two fasteners that hold the socket to the washer tub are unscrewed using a screwdriver. Once the fasteners are loosened, the socket can be detached from the washer tub.

Step 3: The socket is extracted from the washer tub by carefully lifting it upward and away from the washer tub.

Step 4: The new socket is positioned onto the washer tub by aligning the two tabs on the socket with the two openings on the washer tub. The socket is fastened to the washer tub using the two screws.

Step 5: The wiring harness is reconnected to the socket. The plug at the back of the socket is identified, then the tab is pressed down while the plug is attached to the socket.

Step 6: The suspension rod support socket is verified to confirm it is firmly secured and functioning correctly.
