Installation Steps
Step 1: The dryer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the lint filter should be taken out.
Step 2: Any lint accumulation on the exhaust cover plate and within the dryer drum adjacent to the plate should be gently eliminated.
Step 3: At the back of the dryer, the screws that hold the exhaust cover plate in place should be found. The screws should be removed with the Phillips head screwdriver and the plate should be detached.
Step 4: The new WE49X22606 exhaust cover plate should be positioned and it should be fastened securely with the Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 5: The lint filter should be reinserted and the dryer should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.
