Installation Steps

Step 1: The screws securing the top panel of the dryer should be removed. These screws should be visible when the top lid of the dryer is lifted.

Step 2: After the screws have been taken out, the top panel should be gently elevated and the wiring should be found. Any wiring linked to the rear of the dryer should be carefully disconnected. Caution should be exercised in this step, as some wires may be prone to damage.

Step 3: With a spanner wrench, the two bolts fastening the drum in position should be loosened. Once the bolts are removed, the drum should be carefully lifted out of the dryer casing.

Step 4: After the drum has been removed, the we3m26 bearing should be identified and pressed into the drum. It should ensure that it is securely pushed into place.

Step 5: To put the dryer back together, the steps previously outlined should be reversed. The drum should be reinserted into the casing and fastened with the two bolts. The wiring should be reattached and the screws that secure the top panel should be reinstalled.

Step 6: Once everything is complete, the dryer should be reconnected and power restored. A few test runs should be conducted to confirm that all components are functioning correctly.

Congratulations! The we3m26 bearing on your GE dryer has been successfully replaced.

Please remember, these guidelines are intended for general reference and should always be utilized alongside the manufacturer's manual, if available.
