Installation Steps

Step 1: The dryer's power cord is disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Step 2: The two Phillips screws are taken out from the back panel of the dryer.

Step 3: The dryer is shifted away from the wall to gain access to its rear side.

Step 4: The drive belt along with the tension pulley wheel located at the back of the dryer is identified.

Step 5: The bolt at the center of the pulley wheel is loosened to relieve the tension.

Step 6: The belt is removed from both the motor pulley and the pulley wheel.

Step 7: The new belt is threaded around the drum, then through the idler pulley wheel and the motor pulley.

Step 8: The belt is tightened and fastened securely.

Step 9: The bolt on the tension pulley is re-tightened, then the dryer is repositioned to its original spot.

Step 10: The back panel screws are reinstalled and the power cord is reconnected to the wall outlet.
