Installation Steps

Step 1: The oven is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the access panel of the oven is identified. A Phillips head screwdriver is employed to take out the screws that fasten the panel to the oven.

Step 2: The old igniter is found positioned near one of the burners at the oven's base. The wires linking it to the range are detached.

Step 3: With pliers, the screws that secure the old igniter are extracted. The old igniter is gently pulled out and the new GE WE04X25996 Igniter is installed in its place.

Step 4: The wires to the new igniter are reconnected, ensuring they are secured tightly.

Step 5: The access panel is reinstalled and it is fastened using the screws.

Step 6: The oven is reconnected to the power source and it is verified that the new igniter functions correctly.
