Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to starting the replacement, the water supply to the dishwasher is deactivated by turning the shutoff valve in a clockwise direction.

Step 2: The power supply to the dishwasher is disconnected by removing the plug from the wall outlet.

Step 3: Rubber gloves are worn and it is ensured that a bucket is nearby to collect any water that might spill during the process.

Step 4: A flat head screwdriver is used to carefully open the access panel on the interior of your dishwasher.

Step 5: The GE WD24X10041 hose chamber is identified, which is situated close to the water pump.

Step 6: Pliers are utilized to loosen the screws on the hose chamber and all hoses connected to it are detached.

Step 7: The old hose chamber is gently extracted and set aside.

Step 8: The new hose chamber is taken and all hoses are connected to it in the same configuration as the previous one.

Step 9: The new hose chamber is firmly fastened in position.

Step 10: The access panel is replaced and the power supply is reconnected.

Step 11: The water supply is reactivated and a cycle is initiated to inspect for any leaks.
