Installation Steps

Step 1: The dishwasher door should be opened and the lower kick panel should be taken off. This should be accomplished by using a screwdriver to take out the screws that secure the panel.

Step 2: After the panel is detached, the drain solenoid and bracket assembly should be identified. The solenoid will be positioned at the bottom of the dishwasher.

Step 3: The Wiring attached to the solenoid should be observed. The Wiring should be disconnected and the screws that secure the assembly should be removed.

Step 4: The old assembly should be gently extracted and the new one should be installed in its place. The new assembly should be fastened with the mounting screws.

Step 5: The Wiring should be reconnected to the solenoid and it should ensure that any loose wires are secured.

Step 6: The lower kick panel should be reattached and the dishwasher door should be shut.

Step 7: Power should be restored to the dishwasher and it should be verified that the replacement was executed successfully.
