The General Electric WD19X24395 Dishwasher Wash Pump Assembly supplies power to the water spray to provide a better, consistent force to clean effectively. It works on the concept of forcing the water into the spray arms at a high pressure so that no part of the dishes is left behind, and the debris is swept out. This assembly is at the bottom of the unit, and it is mounted together with the motor and the pump housing to ensure consistency in the water flow. It replaces the original part once it is worn and damaged in order to restore the proper washing efficiency.
