Installation Steps

Step 1: Your dishwasher is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply is shut off.

Step 2: The screws that secure the dishwasher door are identified and taken out with a screwdriver.

Step 3: The outer casing of the dishwasher door is gently detached and placed aside.

Step 4: The wiring harness that links to the handle actuator is unplugged.

Step 5: The two screws fastening the handle actuator are removed.

Step 6: The handle actuator is taken out and disposed of.

Step 7: The new handle actuator is positioned by fastening it with the same two screws that held the previous actuator.

Step 8: The wiring harness is reconnected to the new handle actuator.

Step 9: The outer casing of the dishwasher door is reattached over the actuator.

Step 10: The door is fastened with the screws and the dishwasher is reconnected to the power source.

Step 11: The water supply is restored, completing the replacement of the handle actuator.
