In the Observance of Memorial Day No Shippings or Deliveries on Monday, 05/25. Second day air orders on 05/21 and next day air orders on 05/22 will be delivered on Tuesday, 05/26.
Step 1: The GE dishwasher is disconnected from the power source and the appliance's electricity is deactivated.
Step 2: The door of the dishwasher is opened and all dishes are taken out to allow for improved access to the upper rack.
Step 3: The upper rack is removed from the dishwasher.
Step 4: The old cap - Upper Rack Rail End Cap (GE WD12X23617) is examined and it is confirmed that it requires replacement before proceeding.
Step 5: The old end cap is extracted with a Phillips head screwdriver. The screws are retained if they are still usable.
Step 6: The new cap is positioned into the opening left by the removed one. The new cap is fastened using the existing screws or ones that are suitably sized.
Step 7: The upper rack is reinserted into the dishwasher and it is ensured that it is securely positioned.
Step 8: The appliance's power is reactivated and it is reconnected to the outlet.
Step 9: A cycle is initiated in the dishwasher to verify that everything functions correctly.
