Installation Steps

Step 1: Disconnect the power supply. Prior to commencing any repairs, the power supply should always be disconnected to guarantee your safety while working.

Step 2: Take out the lower dish rack and stemware holders. The dish rack, stemware holders, and any other items present inside the washer should be removed.

Step 3: Detach the access panel. Depending on your dishwasher's model, one or more screws securing the access panel will likely need to be unscrewed.

Step 4: Identify the tub seal gasket. The tub seal gasket, situated at the bottom of the dishwasher along the inner edge of the tub, should be located.

Step 5: Remove the old gasket. The old gasket should be gently extracted. If it proves challenging to remove, a flat-head screwdriver may be used to assist in prying it off. Caution should be exercised to avoid damaging the dishwasher tub's surface.

Step 6: Clear the area. Any debris or remnants of adhesive should be wiped away.

Step 7: Apply adhesive. A thin coat of adhesive should be spread around the edge of the tub where the seal gasket is to be installed.

Step 8: Position the new tub seal gasket. The tub seal gasket should be set in place, confirming that it aligns correctly with the tub's edges.

Step 9: Fasten with clips or clamps. Clips or clamps should be attached around the edge of the tub seal gasket to hold it securely in position.

Step 10: Reassemble and test. The access panel should be reattached and everything inside the dishwasher should be restored to its original configuration. The power supply should then be reconnected, and a standard wash cycle should be run to verify that everything operates correctly.

Please note that these instructions serve as general guidance and should always be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if it is available.
