Installation Steps
Step 1: The power supply to the Frigidaire range is to be deactivated. To accomplish this, the electrical connector is to be found and unplugged.
Step 2: The main top is to be removed from the range. Four screws located on the sides of the unit are needed to be unscrewed before the main top can be taken off.
Step 3: After the screws have been taken out, the top of the range is to be elevated and moved away from the oven. A secure location to place it is to be ensured and it is to be kept out of the way.
Step 4: The new main top oven (the 318223640 MAIN TOP OS2) is to be positioned onto the range. It is to be verified that the tabs align and the screw holes correspond.
Step 5: The new main top oven is to be fastened to the range by securing the four screws that were removed earlier.
Step 6: After the screws are secured, power to the Frigidaire range is to be restored.
Step 7: The functionality of the range is to be verified to ensure all is operating correctly.
