Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to your oven should be deactivated. The main power switch should be identified and turned off, or the circuit breaker box should be accessed and the corresponding circuit disabled.

Step 2: The oven door should be opened and the screws (if present) along the perimeter of the metal shield inside the oven cavity should be taken out. The shield should be detached from the oven wall.

Step 3: The bake element mounting screws positioned along the bottom edge of the oven wall should be identified. These screws should be removed and then the element should be lowered out of the oven cavity.

Step 4: The wiring attached to the old bake element should be examined. It should ensure that the wires are intact and that all connections are secure.

Step 5: The wires should be attached to the new bake element. They should be firmly pushed into position, ensuring that the connections are secure and tight.

Step 6: The bake element should be reinserted back into the oven cavity and fastened securely in place with screws.

Step 7: It should ensure that the metal shield is properly positioned and the screws along its edge should be reinstalled.

Step 8: The power should be reactivated and the functionality of the new bake element should be checked.
