Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to your GE Range Oven should be disconnected. Prioritizing safety, it should always be ensured that the power is off before commencing any repair activities in your residence.

Step 2: The oven door should be taken off. To detach the oven door, the two clips situated at the top of the oven door should be pressed down. This action will allow the door to be released, enabling it to be gently lowered. The door should be placed on its side in a secure location.

Step 3: The correct screwdriver should be employed to remove the screws on the back panel that hold the WB44X10009 GE Range Oven BAKE ELEMENT securely. After the screws are taken out, the wiring connected to the element should be inspected for any indications of burning. If any damage is present, the wiring must also be replaced.

Step 4: The BAKE ELEMENT should be extracted from the oven. Following this, the wiring from the element should be disconnected.

Step 5: The new GE Range Oven BAKE ELEMENT should be positioned by carefully attaching the wiring and then placing it into position. It should be fastened using the screws.

Step 6: The oven door should be reattached. It should ensure that the door is resting flat on the ground, then the clips should be pressed to secure it in place.

Step 7: The power should be reconnected to the outlet and the functionality of the heating element should be verified. If all is functioning correctly, your new BAKE ELEMENT may be used for cooking!
