Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cord of the GE WB35X29720 microwave should be disconnected by starting. This precaution will help prevent electric shock during the gasket replacement.

Step 2: The screws located on the side trim of the microwave should be taken out using the Phillips screwdriver.

Step 3: The side trim should be gently detached by pushing it slightly away from the microwave's body.

Step 4: Next, the flathead screwdriver should be utilized to remove the screws that are holding the upper front trim in place.

Step 5: The upper front trim should be slightly pulled away from the microwave to be taken off.

Step 6: At this point, the gasket door assembly can be accessed. It should be carefully pulled from the door and placed aside.

Step 7: The new gasket door assembly should be taken and meticulously attached to the microwave door. It should ensure that it is fully secured before moving on.

Step 8: The upper front trim should be reinstalled and fastened with screws.

Step 9: The side trim should be replaced and secured using the Phillips screws.

Step 10: Finally, the power cord should be reconnected to the wall outlet, and the task is complete!

Your GE WB35X29720 microwave should now be functioning properly without concerns of steam or heat escaping.

Please note that these instructions are intended for general guidance and should always be used alongside the manufacturer's manual, if available.
