The cable should be reinserted into its original placement and the wires connected to the terminals. All connections should be ensured as secure.
Step 5: Verify the microwave's operation. Once the new diode cable is in place, the appliance should be reconnected to the power source and its functionality checked. If all is functioning as expected, heating and cooking should be performed properly by the microwave.
