The General Electric WB24X5345 Range Spark Ignition Switch Right Side is installed on the right side of the gas ranges and is employed in initiating the burner ignition sequence via an electric spark. The part slides into the control mechanism behind the burner knob and provides the spark when the knob is turned. The switch operates by an electrical signal to the spark module, which generates a high voltage pulse that burns the gas in the burner.
