Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the wall outlet to avoid any risk of electrical shock.

Step 2: The temperature sensor or thermistor located at the back of the refrigerator close to the top should be identified.

Step 3: The bracket or insulation that shields the temperature sensor should be taken off.

Step 4: The wiring harness linked to the temperature sensor should be detached by carefully pulling it away.

Step 5: The new GE WB20K10015 temperature sensor should be positioned by attaching the wiring harness and fastening it with the bracket or insulation.

Step 6: The refrigerator should be reconnected to the wall outlet and switched on.

Step 7: The temperature sensor should be evaluated by adjusting the refrigerator control to various settings. Allow 24 hours for a stable temperature to be reached by the refrigerator before making further adjustments.

Step 8: If adequate cooling fails to be achieved by the temperature, the procedure should be repeated and it should be checked that the wiring is properly connected.

Please remember that these instructions are served as general guidance and should always be utilized alongside the manufacturer's manual, if accessible.
