Installation Steps

Step 1: Disable gas supply. Prior to initiating the repair, it should ensure that the natural gas supply to the appliance is turned off. The gas supply valve located in your basement may either be closed or the main gas line at the meter may be shut off.

Step 2: Take out the old burner. Begin by detaching the burner from its housing and extracting it from the appliance. The mounting screws that secure it to the appliance should be unscrewed and the burner should be gently removed.

Step 3: Position the new burner. The new burner should be inserted into the housing, ensuring it is correctly aligned and seated. The mounting screws should be re-secured and fastened firmly.

Step 4: Link the gas line. The gas line should be connected to the burner and it should be confirmed that it is tightened securely. The gas supply should be reactivated, and any gas leaks should be inspected. If everything is satisfactory, the burner should ignite as expected.

Step 5: Verify the burner. Once all connections are made, the burner should be ignited to test it. It should ensure that it is functioning correctly and there are no indications of gas leakage.

Please remember, these instructions serve as general guidance and should always be utilized alongside the manufacturer's manual, if available.
