Installation Steps

Step 1: The stove should be disconnected from the electrical outlet prior to commencing any repairs.

Step 2: To reach the WB16X28654 GE Stove Burner Cap Cover, it may be necessary for the burner grates to be taken off initially. The manufacturer's guidelines should be consulted if needed.

Step 3: Depending on the model of your stove, two screws that hold the burner cap cover secure might have to be taken out. The screws should be found and extracted using a screwdriver.

Step 4: The burner cap cover should become detached once the screws are taken out. It should be gently pulled from the opening.

Step 5: The area beneath the old burner cap cover should be thoroughly cleaned prior to positioning the new part in the same location.

Step 6: The new WB16X28654 GE Stove Burner Cap Cover should be aligned with its respective port on the stove and firmly pressed into position.

Step 7: The securing screws should be reinserted using a screwdriver.

Step 8: The burner grates should be put back if they were taken off.

Step 9: Power should be reconnected to the stove and the burner cap cover should be verified by activating the burners to confirm it is functioning correctly.

Please be aware that these instructions are served as general guidance and should always be used alongside the manufacturer's manual, if accessible.
