Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to your appliance is disconnected and the plug is removed.

Step 2: The screws situated at the upper section of the front panel are identified. It is necessary for these screws to be taken out to access the interior of the unit.

Step 3: A Phillips head screwdriver is employed to detach the screws, then the front panel is lifted off.

Step 4: After the front panel is taken off, the GE WB15X25580 handle & endcap assy is found.

Step 5: The two screws that are securing the handle & endcap assembly are removed.

Step 6: Once the assembly is taken out, the new handle & endcap assembly is positioned into the appliance.

Step 7: The new handle & endcap assembly is fastened with the two screws that were removed earlier.

Step 8: It is verified that the handle is firmly attached and does not have any play.

Step 9: The front panel is reattached and secured with screws.

Step 10: The appliance is reconnected and the power is restored.
