Step 1: Power to the stove should be disconnected. This should be achieved by turning off the breaker linked to the stove, or by unplugging it from the outlet.

Step 2: The spark module should be identified. It is situated near the burner box at the back or beneath the stove.

Step 3: The screws that hold the spark module in place should be taken out. A screwdriver should be utilized to extract the screws and set them aside.

Step 4: The wiring harness should be detached from the spark module. The wiring harness should be gently pulled away from the spark module.

Step 5: The new spark module should be positioned. The wiring harness should be carefully attached to the new spark module and fastened with the screws.

Step 6: Power to the stove should be restored. The circuit breaker should be ensured flipped back to the “on” position, or the stove should be reconnected to the outlet.

Step 7: The spark module's functionality should be verified. A burner should be ignited and sparking should be observed to confirm that the spark module has been installed properly. If sparking is absent, the connections should be double-checked to ensure they are all securely attached.
