Its element begins glowing when energised, and reaches a temperature of ignition, so it can be allowed to burn in a controlled manner. It is located next to the gas outlet and it always turns on at the start of heating cycles. Constructed using heat-resistant materials, it does not deform when subjected to heat. Its consistent warm-up action sustains regular burner start-up, and assists in sustaining steady heating operation
