The General Electric WB07X11041 Microwave Control Panel Assembly-White contains the user interface controls that pass the input commands to the appliance control board to select the cycle and change the time. It fits on the upper front part of the microwave cabinet where the panel is aligned with the membrane switches, display interface and internal control circuitry with a wiring connector. The assembly is fixed to the chassis using fasteners and frame brackets to keep the assembly in a proper position. It facilitated coordinated heating and regulated operation of microwaves during normal cooking time by allowing the entry of commands and system feedback.
