The General Electric WB02X32235 Range Grease Filter 30" assists in trapping airborne grease particles, smoke, and cooking vapors before they get into the exhaust system. Installed at the bottom of the 30-inch range, it is between the appliance and the exhaust blower and is fastened using tabs or clips. The mesh or baffle structure of the filter enables air to go through but grease to be trapped. It coordinates with the ventilation system, which provides to capture the grease, enhance air quality, and maintain the airflow in the usual cooking and ventilating cycles.
Step 1: Your power source should be disconnected. Prior to engaging with any electronic appliance, it should ensure that it is disconnected from the power source.
Step 2: The grease filter should be located. The GE Range Hood 30" Grease Filter, model WB02X32235, can be found at the lower section of the hood beneath the grille.
Step 3: The grille and filter should be removed. The grille should be carefully detached and then the old filter should be extracted.
Step 4: The new filter should be inserted. The new filter should be positioned in the same orientation as the previous one was installed.
Step 5: The grille should be reattached. The grille should be reinstalled onto the hood, ensuring it is securely positioned and flush with the hood surface.
Step 6: The power source should be reconnected. After the filter has been replaced, the power may be reconnected.
