Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to initiating the replacement, the power to the range hood should be disconnected: Either the power cord should be unplugged from the outlet or the relevant circuit breaker should be deactivated.

Step 2: A bucket or bowl should be positioned beneath the range hood to collect any grease or debris that might drop during the filter replacement procedure.

Step 3: The access panel for the grease filter located at the bottom of the range hood should be detached. This action will reveal the current grease filter.

Step 4: To extract the grease filter, a flathead screwdriver should be utilized to loosen the clasps that hold the filter in place.

Step 5: The current grease filter should be gently removed.

Step 6: The new WB02X11534 GE Grease Filter should be placed into the opening, ensuring a secure fit.

Step 7: A flathead screwdriver should be employed to fasten the clasps and retain the new filter.

Step 8: The access panel should be reattached, the power cord should be reconnected, or the circuit breaker should be reactivated.

Step 9: The range hood's operation should be verified to confirm it is functioning properly.

Please remember, these guidelines serve as general advice and should always be referenced alongside the manufacturer's manual, if one is available.
