The Whirlpool W11545318 Dishwasher Panel replaces the bottom, front portion of your Whirlpool dishwasher. It conceals the area beneath the dishwasher and gives your appliance a polished appearance. It is also referred to as an access panel or toe kick plate. Usually composed of black plastic, the panel is easily installed by screwing or snapping it into place. Although it is not involved in the actual dishwashing process, the panel has various advantages. Firstly, it hides the dishwasher's underside, including wiring, hoses, and other potentially ugly parts. Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to your appliance should be cut off. The fasteners that hold the panel to the washer should be unscrewed. After that, the old panel should be taken out.

Step 2: The vicinity around the panel should be thoroughly examined for any wiring connections and they should be detached prior to fully removing the panel.

Step 3: The trim molding located at the top of the panel should be gently taken off, ensuring it remains undamaged.

Step 4: The new panel should be inserted into the area left by the old one. It should be confirmed that the edges are correctly aligned and firmly positioned.

Step 5: The panel should be fastened using the screws, then the trim molding at the top of the panel should be reattached with the adhesive included in the kit.

Step 6: Any wiring that was previously detached should be reconnected and then the appliance should be plugged back in.

Step 7: The power should be activated and the new panel should be verified to ensure it is operating correctly.
