Product Description

The Whirlpool W11509548 Refrigerator Shaft is an essential component that keeps your food fresh. The auger, a spiral part that smashes ice, is connected to the ice maker motor by this little rod. The auger spins when the shaft rotates due to the motor's rotation. Ice cubes are broken down into smaller bits by this crushing action, and the smaller fragments are then poured into your glass via the ice chute. The auger couldn't turn and couldn't dispense ice if the shaft wasn't working. Some refrigerators utilize an auger to rotate ice molds to produce whole cubes in addition to using crushed ice. A malfunctioning shaft could also mean no cubed ice for your drinks.

Installation Steps
