Product Description

The Whirlpool W11366249 Washing Machine, 1Tub to Pump Hose is a vital component of your washing machine's drainage system. It's a strong hose designed to transport water from the washing machine's tub to the drain pump. During the wash cycle, water fills the tub and cleanses your clothing. When the washing cycle is finished, the drain pump activates, and the W11366249 hose directs the used water out of the tub and into the drain pump for disposal. This ensures proper drainage and keeps the washing machine from overflowing. Replacing a faulty W11366249 hose is a simple repair that can fix common problems such as 1leaking water from the washer. A broken hose can cause insufficient drainage, leaving your clothes soaked.

Installation Steps

Step 1: The washer is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply is shut off.

Step 2: The existing hose is detached from both the pump and the tub.

Step 3: The new hose is soaked in a bucket of warm water to facilitate installation.

Step 4: One end of the new hose is attached to the tub. Pliers are utilized to secure the clamps on both sides of the joint.

Step 5: The opposite end of the new hose is fastened to the pump. Again, pliers are employed to ensure the clamps on both sides of the joint are tight.

Step 6: After the new hose is secured, the water supply is restored and the washer is reconnected to the power source.
