Installation Steps

Step 1: The dishwasher must be disconnected from its electrical outlet and the water supply must be turned off.

Step 2: The dishwasher door must be opened and the current upper dishrack slide track, right side must be identified.

Step 3: With a Phillips head screwdriver, the screws fastening the top rack to the dishwasher's side walls must be taken out.

Step 4: The upper dishrack must be slightly pulled outward, then it must be taken out of the dishwasher.

Step 5: For replacing the upper dishrack slide track, right side, the wiring must be detached from the motor. The socket wrench must be utilized to unscrew the two screws that secure the motor mounting bracket. The motor must be carefully pulled forward and the wiring must be disconnected from the motor terminals.

Step 6: The old slide track must be extracted by gently pulling it away from the dishwasher wall.

Step 7: The new slide track must be aligned with the wall of the dishwasher. It must be fastened using the supplied screws.

Step 8: The wiring must be reconnected to the motor. The motor must be placed back into the motor mounting bracket and it must be fastened with the two screws.

Step 9: The upper dishrack must be inserted back into position. The dishrack must be attached to the side walls using the screws that were previously removed.

Step 10: The dishwasher door must be closed and it must be reconnected to the power source.

The Whirlpool dishwasher upper dishrack slide track, right side has now been successfully swapped.
