Installation Steps

Step 1: The essential tools and components will be assembled. A Phillips head screwdriver, a putty knife, a pair of needle nose pliers, the Whirlpool W11252165 GRATE-KIT, and a cloth will be required.

Step 2: The two screws positioned on each side of the existing grate-kit will be detached. The screws will be meticulously taken out using the Phillips head screwdriver and placed aside.

Step 3: The tip of the putty knife will be positioned beneath the old grate-kit and it will be carefully lifted off.

Step 4: The four metal clips that hold the old grate-kit in place will be extracted by utilizing the needle nose pliers.

Step 5: The area where the old grate-kit was mounted will be wiped down using the cloth.

Step 6: The new grate-kit will be aligned and pressed firmly into position.

Step 7: The four metal clips will be reattached to fasten the new grate-kit securely.

Step 8: The two screws that were taken out previously will be reinserted. The screws will be tightened to ensure the grate-kit is firmly held in place.

Step 9: The new grate-kit will be verified to confirm it has been installed correctly.

Your Whirlpool W11252165 GRATE-KIT has now been successfully swapped out.
