Installation Steps

Step 1: Initially, all electrical power to the appliance should be disconnected and deactivated prior to commencing any repairs.

Step 2: A screwdriver should be employed to extract the screws located along the edges of the door panel and the panel should be detached.

Step 3: The wiring harness should be unplugged from the door latch assembly.

Step 4: The screws securing the door latch assembly should be taken out and subsequently the assembly should be removed.

Step 5: The new latch assembly should be positioned and the wiring harness should be reconnected. The latch assembly should be fastened using the screws.

Step 6: The outer door panel should be reattached to the door frame, then the screws should be inserted back into their respective holes to secure the panel.

Step 7: The power should be restored and the operation of the new latch assembly should be verified for correct functionality.
