The Whirlpool W11234417 Whirlpool Range Orifice Holder is designed to hold the burner orifice in place in the gas supply, to the burner. It is installed in the manifold assembly in the cooktop with the orifice securely retained between the gas supply tube and burner base. It is mounted to the manifold assembly and burner inlet with a seated mounting with proper gas flow and position. It enables smooth burning, constant flame and heat control during cooking of the appliance.
