Installation Steps

Step 1: The oven for the replacement task is set up by starting. The appliance is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the power is switched off at the circuit breaker. All racks, accessories, and any removable components are taken out from the oven's interior.

Step 2: Subsequently, the oven rack located on the underside of the oven is identified. Two screws that secure the rack will be noticed.

Step 3: The screws are gently taken out using a screwdriver, then the rack is carefully extracted from the oven.

Step 4: To install the new rack, the Whirlpool W11218798 RACK-OVEN is obtained and it is inserted into the oven. It is verified that the rack is firmly positioned before moving forward.

Step 5: The screws are replaced to secure the rack and they are tightened adequately with a screwdriver.

Step 6: All removable components are returned to their designated spots, the oven is reconnected to the power source, and the power is turned back on at the circuit breaker.

Step 7: Finally, the oven is operated and the rack is thoroughly checked to confirm it is securely positioned.
