Installation Steps

Step 1: Your appliance should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply to the appliance should be turned off.

Step 2: Any items or debris should be cleared from the top of the unit.

Step 3: A putty knife should be employed to detach any leftover adhesive and screws fastening the control panel to the console.

Step 4: The control panel should be carefully taken off and set aside.

Step 5: The four screws that hold the console to the washer should be taken out with a flathead screwdriver.

Step 6: The old console should be gently drawn away from the washer body.

Step 7: The new console should be positioned and elevated into place.

Step 9: The control panel should be reattached and fastened using adhesive and screws.

Step 10: All wiring should be reconnected in accordance with any diagrams provided with the replacement console.

Step 11: The appliance should be plugged back in and the water supply activated.
