Installation Steps

Step 1: Essential tools are collected: new Whirlpool W11182108 ELMNT-BAKE, flat head screwdriver, gloves.

Step 2: The range is disconnected from the wall outlet and the power is deactivated at the circuit breaker.

Step 3: A flat head screwdriver is employed to detach the wires from the current ELMNT-BAKE element.

Step 4: The screws that fasten the ELMNT-BAKE element to the oven cavity are taken out.

Step 5: The old ELMNT-BAKE element is gently extracted and placed aside.

Step 6: The new ELMNT-BAKE element is positioned into the oven cavity and secured with the mounting screws.

Step 7: The wires are reattached to the new ELMNT-BAKE element.

Step 8: Prior to re-energizing, a multimeter is utilized to verify continuity at the wires.

Step 9: The power is reactivated at the circuit breaker and the range is reconnected to the wall.
