Product Description
The Whirlpool W11175842 Range Suppressor reduces electrical noise on power and signal lines to prevent interference with control systems. It has internal capacitors and inductors that reduce voltage transient disturbances and voltage spikes produced by switches, igniters and motors connected in line with the mains input or control harness of a range. The suppressor exists close to the power entry or junction point within the rear access panel of the range and is fastened to the chassis in such a manner that when the power is on, it should be a part of the incoming supply and internal wiring.
