Product Description

The Whirlpool W11050804 Washer Cap has become an alternative item designed exclusively for Whirlpool, Kenmore, and Maytag washing machines. It is an essential part positioned in the centre of the washing agitator. This cap is necessary for the machine's washing function. The agitator, a centre pole with fins or vanes, spins the fabric during the washing cycle. The cap lies on top of the agitator, allowing it to evenly distribute the detergent and water through the wash basket. It also prevents garments from tangling up around the agitator shaft. A damaged or absent W11050804 Washer Cap may affect your washer's cleaning effectiveness. Without the cap, water flow and detergent dispersion could become uneven, possibly leading to dirty garments.

Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cable is disconnected and the water supply to the washing machine is shut off.

Step 2: The screws that secure the top or front panel are taken out, based on your Whirlpool washing machine model.

Step 3: The cap situated at the rear of the washer is examined. It could either be a plastic screw-on variant or a metal clamp.

Step 4: If it is a plastic screw-on cap, it is twisted off using a Phillips head screwdriver. If it is a metal clamp, pliers are utilized to detach it.
